This is how it starts...  
To measure for the proper size head wreath, use a dressmaker's tape measure or a string. Decide on where you want the wreath positioned on your head, for instance, in this Hawaiian-style wreath - you would measure around the forehead and to the back of the head.
Here you would measure around the crown. Have a friend help you with the measuring. The average size is between 20 and 23 inches for adults.

Customer requested yellow and ivory roses with navy blue accents, heavy on the navy blue. I sent pictures of the blossoms available and we went from there.
 
And this was the end result...matching bride and bridesmaids headpieces.

This request was for ivory daisies with light blue accents.
 
Customer decided on this combination for her wreaths.

Another customer requested light pink, dark pink, and dark blue and remarked "I don't care what kind of flowers" except that she wanted a rather "skinny" wreath.
 
She was very pleased with the result.
